SET OF 10 PASTY POSTCARDS
You receive five each of two different pasty postcards that were published 5-10 years ago and now out of print. First set of five cards is the LOCAL PASTY POACHERS, a humorous look at Cornishmen hunting down a pasty in the wild, back side is blank. Second set of five cards shows the Cornish pasty on the rocky Cornish coastline. Back side states, "Cornish Pasty. The traditional dinner favored by the working men of Cornwall was the pasty, a mixture of sliced meat and vegetables enclosed in a pastry case. It provided a complete meal for tin miners on their long shifts underground and is now the perfect food to take on a long cliff walk or summer picnic." This is followed with a detailed recipe on how to make and cook a pasty. This card is over-sized approximately 7"x4 1/2 " and in the USA requires a letter stamp.
Set of 10 new condition pasty cards $6.00
